This project provides home-based treatment services to youth who have a co-occurring substance abuse and mental health disorder. The target sub-population will be Ingham County youth who have had contact with the police for delinquent behavior and are at risk of formal court adjudication.

Ingham Teen Court is a juvenile diversion and restorative justice program in Ingham County Michigan. Petition referrals are received by Ingham Teen Court from the Ingham County Prosecutor and 30th Judicial Circuit Court Referees. Ingham County first time juvenile offenders, ages 11-16, agree to participate as an alternative to formal court. Ingham Teen Court will refer youth who have co-occurring substance abuse and mental health disorders to the Teen Court Collaborative. Treatment services will be provided by New Focus, a fully licensed adolescent substance abuse program of Child and Family Charities located in Lansing, Michigan.
