In 2015, Child and Family Charities was awarded a one-year grant from the Michigan Committee on Juvenile Justice. The organization provides truancy reduction services to children in the Lansing School District elementary schools. In addition to working with each classroom and providing group instruction to all students on the school attendance policy and group motivational interventions, Child and Family Charities will identify students and parents during the course of the school year for individual and family intervention.
